Hallo! Ich bin Rebecca!
I'm Rebecca and I run the German Gymnasium. I am a qualified teacher of Modern Foreign Languages and have taught German to students of all ages for over 10 years. My absolute favourite part of teaching is creating engaging activities to help my students develop a love for foreign languages and the confidence to speak German. I have taught in 4 different countries and I have worked across a variety of secondary schools and language schools. Having the privilege of working with such diverse language learners has also allowed me to evolve and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning styles and to understand how to support my students to make the best possible progress.

I speak German, English, Norwegian, Spanish and Catalan fluently and truly believe each language you learn opens a door to new experiences and adventures. There’s something really exciting about travelling to a country and being able to communicate in the native language spoken there. Language learning is all about putting yourself out there and making mistakes so that you can learn from them and improve. I'm here to guide you on your language learning journey and help you discover the German-speaking world with its diverse culture and far-reaching opportunities.
