How long is the course?
The A1.1 course consists of 30 video lessons and accompanying exercises. If you complete 3 lessons per week it will take you just over 2 months to complete this course. The A1.2 course consists of 36 lessons and accompanying exercises. If you complete 3 lessons per week it will take you just under 3 months to complete this course.
What does the Beginner Bundle include?
The A1 Beginner Bundle includes 2 courses: A1.1 Ultimate Beginner German Course and A1.2 Ultimate Beginner German Course. Purchasing the bundle is more cost-effective than buying each course separately.
What will I learn on the course?
At A1.1 level, you will study the 3 fundamental building blocks of the German language: verbs, cases, and word order. You'll be able to communicate confidently in German from the start and, if your aim is to be fluent in the future, this course is the perfect start. Topics include talking about friends and family, introducing yourself, food and drink, and free time activities.
At A1.2 level, you will learn about more complex verbs, including separable and reflexive verbs. You will also expand your knowledge of the nominative, accusative, and dative cases, as well as word order and you will learn all about the imperative and modal verbs, among other things. Topics include daily routine, house and home, mobile phones, health, clothing, local area, and holidays.
What is the language of instruction?
The course is taught in English.
Is the course live?
No, each lesson includes a pre-recorded video lesson and accompanying exercises. Although the course is not live, you can always comment on the video lessons if you have any questions and I'll be there to support you.
How long will I have access to the course for?
You will have access for at least 1 year, meaning you can use the course to revise once you have completed it.
